With a VPI Pet Insurance policy, you have the freedom to obtain the best care for your pet. When your pet is ill or requires emergency treatment you won't want the additional stress of worrying about how you will pay the veterinary bill. You'll have other things on your mind. So, we keep our claim process simple.

See any licensed veterinarian or specialist worldwide.
Pay for the visit at the time of service.
Have an authorized veterinary staff member fill out the claim form by listing the diagnosis and signing it.
Sign and mail the claim form with the original veterinary invoice to VPI.
Your claim is adjusted based on your plan's Benefit Schedule. Both the VPI Superior Plan Benefit Schedule and the VPI Standard Plan Benefit Schedule are based on the national average that veterinarians charge for the services described. The policy will pay 90% of the plan's Benefit Schedule allowance, per incident, during each policy term after the deductible for eligible expenses.

All VPI policies function as indemnity insurance. We restore financial loss within the limits of the policy in case of an unforeseen event.
